I'm looking for a maths tutor for my 16-year-old daughter.
She hasn't been in school for the last 3 years due to ill health and has never done any GCSEs. She has an entrance exam for a local college and needs to pass the math test to be accepted onto the GCSE courses.
The maths test will be 40 minutes long with a range of topics from just below GCSE so key stage 3 / Year 9 maths.
The test is at the end of August and I'm hoping to arrange 2-3 lessons a week. I'm hoping for worksheets to be provided so she can practice the topics between lessons.
My daughter has anxiety and is very nervous about maths in general, so this needs to be taken into account when helping her to understand how to do the maths. She needs someone who can explain very clearly and be patient and encouraging. I would like the lessons to start ASAP ideally next week. I am hoping for 2-3 lessons a week with practice exercises for her to do in between.
Please let me know if you are interested.
