About Zofia
I am a pianist currently studying at the Royal College of Music with professor Dina Parakhina. Before, I attended Musical School in Danzig where I got the piano diploma with a distinction. I have been playing the piano for 18 years and during those years gained a lot of great experience. I have attended many music workshops and masterclasses , which gave me the opportunity to develop my skills supervised by academic teachers and famous pianists:
Zbigniew Raubo, Monika Sikorska-Wojtacha, Waldemar Wojtal, Robert Marat, Szabolcs Esztenyi , Ramiro Sanjines, Aleksiej Orłowiecki, Maja Nosowska, Wojciech Karolak, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Dina Joffe. Moreover, I have taken part in many concerts, for example: concert with orchestra at the university in Danzig, concert of Young Talents in Baltic Philharmonic (several times), concerts in Music Academy in Danzing and University of Music in Warsaw, etc.
Apart from those experiences I participated in many piano competitions, among others:
2nd place in the International Piano Competition in Milan, 1st place in the International Piano Competition in Augustów, Special Prize for the best interpretation of Fryderyk Chopin's piece in the International Piano Competition in Augustów, 3rd place in the International Music Competition in Val Tidone, 2nd place in the International Piano Competition in Vilnius, the Title of laureat in the International Chopin's Festival in Sochaczew, 3rd place in the International Music Competition in Lomianki, 3rd place in the International Young Pianists Festival in Głubczyce, 3rd place in the International Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Skarżysko-Kamienna, etc.
I became a scholarship holder of Foundation for Children, also awarded grant from Fundation Pro Bono.
For many years I have cooperated with many musicians as for example violinists, cellists, singers, percussionists. I have also played in chamber orchestra.
I can cooperate with students in any age and help them with any kinds of repertoire. I am open for sharing my knowledge and would like to show that it doesn't have to be just hard work but also fun. I will try to adapt to individual needs of my students. I am an ambitious person so I try to improve and develop their skills as much as I can. I do not focus just on technique but also on the emotional site of playing the instrument, which I think is important. I would like my students to discover that they can enjoy playing the piano and, besides, expand their creativity.

Zofia is a patient person. She was tutoring me in music theory as well as playing the piano. She was always prepared, with her own materials eg. music sheets or tracks that we were about to process through. Her experience gathered in Gdansk music school translated to an excellent form of teaching. As I said, she's patient and calm, if You don't understand something, she won't get mad - instead she will slow down the tempo of the lesson and break the problem in tiny bits, so it's easier to understand. In her teaching she is methodical, she carefully chooses the topic of the lessons, accordingly to her students skills, so she won't rush forward, leaving the student behind and lost, not knowing what to do.
