About ZAHIRA
I am a university student in UK, studying Computer science, I am currently on my placement year, working as a software engineer with Vodafone. I have a lot experience in teaching. I have been a teacher assistant for 1 year teaching a year 3 class, I have taught students about e-safty for a year to students in secondary school from year 7-11. I have also been teaching English online to students in China for over 2 months now.
When teaching, my strategy will change according to the age of the student. However, the normal format of the session will be the following.
1. start of by setting out some learning objectives of the day and then ask the students if they already know anything on the subject that I will be learning.
2. I will then teach my lesson
3. Ask the students what they have learnt, and make sure they understand everything I taught in the lesson.
I will keep the students engaged by asking questions.
