About Yameen
20 year old undergraduate with 3 years tutoring experience. Having tutored many of the younger students in my secondary school whilst in Year 10, sharing mathematics and helping students to enjoy mathematics is something I found myself flourishing in. After achieving A*s at both GCSE and A2-level in Mathematics, I am now studying BSc Mathematics at the University of Nottingham.
I am engaging, friendly and take joy in teaching Mathematics and helping others to excel in Mathematics as well. I believe that there are many ways in which people can connect with Mathematics and I aim to tutor in whichever way an individual needs. I love my subject, I love helping people with my subject, and having helped many students from GCSE to A-level through Year 10 - Year 13, I believe I can help you too. Having left secondary school over 2 years ago, I find myself missing my Maths teacher the most; he was engaging, friendly and taught each and every single student in the way they needed. My aim is to emulate his teachings which paid dividends for me as a student.
I understand how difficult Mathematics can be, how destabilising in confidence exam-style questions are. I have been through this numerous times and truly believe that I can be of help to whoever may need it.
