About Will
In July this year I graduated from the University of Exeter with a 2:1 in International Relations and Spanish with Portuguese. Last year I also got my certified PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) licence, teaching advanced Spanish to first year students. However, I love to teach at lower levels as well!
In my third year at University I worked for a year at a Human Rights Film Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am ready to impart my Spanish wisdom onto anyone who is willing to learn! This will not involve just boring grammar exercises but an exposure to the cultural elements of the language I am teaching as well. It is essential to understand about the culture and provide a context for the language a student is learning.
I have created a multimedia language learning platform (website and mobile application) to help language students. We will be using this in class to get you away from boring grammar excercises and stick to the more appealing stuff! I will be focusing on what interests you, what makes you tick! Having used this method myself through A-Levels, a 4 years degree and with my PAL students, I know that it works!
If you want to improve all aspects of your spanish quickly and efficiently, this is the way to go!
I have also been playing guitar for 9 years. Have played with the likes of Clive Carrol and created many of my own songs and played live. Into folk and alternative music.
