Westminster-educated gap year student

I am a gap year student from Westminster who is looking to share his passion for learning by helping other students of all ages and levels excel in their studies. I aim to make the experience as rewording as possible by setting both long and short term goals. Having achieved all A*s or better at GCSE and A-Levels of a similar standard, my tutees benefit from my own personal experience that is still very relevant to the exams that they themselves will sit. I currently tutor several GCSE and A-Level students in addition to an IB candidate in the West London area. I strive to go above and beyond the required service through my preparation as well as my availability. If you are looking for a dedicated and patient tutor then please do seriously consider me and do not hesitate to reach out to me for any further information.

Written by Baptiste B

Reliable and skilled Maths and Physics tutor.

It is with great delight that I recommend Will Dubin as a skilled, thoughtful and patient tutor for all levels. Having worked alongside him for several years, I can confidently say that perhaps what makes him stand out the most is his ability to boost the confidence of those around him: his students. Not only does he motivate them to work outside of the lesson too, but he endeavours to make all students enjoy the subjects he teaches - almost as much as he does himself!

Another of his qualities is the ability to broaden the minds of his students, asking challenging and stretching questions that often require the student to apply his or her knowledge in a different way. Even with students who are not perhaps aiming for an A or A*, this is a crucial and often forgotten complement to a child's learning.

With D1 grades for A-Level in Physics and French (grades higher than an A*) and two years of experience in a primary school, Will is more than qualified to teach his subjects, and does so at the highest level.
Subject:
Maths
Outcome:
Great improvement in the final GCSE result. Improved from the predicted grade.

Other Qualifications

I volunteered at a local primary school for two years engaging with children of various ages whilst attending Westminster. This developed my interpersonal skills, above all a high degree of patience, which are essential when working with younger students.

I currently tutor multiple GCSE students as well as an IB candidate in the West London area.
