Victoria is an exceptional tutor. I started learning Cantonese with no experience whatsoever with my last experience of language learning being years ago so my confidence wasn't high. From the first lesson, she listened, really got what my needs and approach were as a student and was patient, clear and kind. She has a special knack of understanding how you will learn best and then explains in ways that makes everything make sense. She is also very lovely and fun and provides just the right balance of support and challenge. She is a great teacher, very dedicated and whoever you are, I would you say that if you want to learn one of her subjects, just go for it. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

I am delighted to act as referee for Victoria Ng. I have known Victoria for some two years, ever since I began my first French lesson for business purpose in year 2019.
I am running an antique dealership business on my own, and I deal with many French colleagues on almost daily basis. So I thought learning French would be extremely helpful for building a good relationship with my French colleagues. Her teaching approach is highly practical for adult learners, the content is useful and easy to practice in daily life.

Victoria has really helped me improve my French speaking skills and helps me a lot with my pronunciation. In between lesson time she really helpfully sends me interesting and fun reading material in French, which sometimes I have to translate and we discuss it in detail during our lessons, making sure that I have understood everything, and that I am using vocabulary from the text in our discussion. Victoria’s timetable is very flexible letting you pick the time that fits you the best. Lesson times can vary from 15 minutes and onwards (to practise speaking multiple times a week), which my daughter find very practical.

Victoria Ng worked at our tutorial centre, Ascent Prep, for 6 months from
the beginning of 2019, teaching GCSE History, Geography and French as

I had a very basic understanding of mandarin (HSK1) but wanted to get
fluent before a business trip to Beijing/Chongqing. Victoria in less than 6
months took my skills to another level and even showed me the subtleties
between traditional/simplified business Chinese (Handy if you go to Hong
Kong). She especially helped me with my oral in sharpening my understanding
of intonation nuances and consolidated my comprehension skills with simple
and interesting reading materials.
