About Veronica
I am an Italian student on Erasmus Programme at the University of Warwick up to the end of June. I have studied foreign languages at the University of Padua (Italy) from five years, in particular English and Russian, and I have deeply studied Italian, as well.
I have been a tutor for many children, teenagers and adults in my own town, helping them in learning English.
I do believe that in Learning foreign Languages it is necessary for the students to feel comfortable in speaking and also in making mistakes, that's why I Always try to make the student be at his/her ease. I believe that grammar is important for the learner, but just as a support, not as the aspect one should focus on; I prefer starting from texts or speeches of the actual Language, and to analyze them with the student to spread his knoledge of Italian. However, as each student is different from another, I Always consider whom I am working with, and devise the activities starting from the needs of the learner.
