About Tyleri
Hello! I'm Tyleri, a graduate of Ancient History from King's College London.
I hold a casual position as a Teacher of Classics. This currently involves teaching Latin and Classical Civilisation.
My main focus in my degree was on Roman History (particular areas of interest being the Republic and early Empire, and Roman Britain), though I have experience with Greek and Byzantine History, with a particular focus on the development of the Church. Other modules studied at university mean I also have a good grounding in British/European History from the late 18th century to the present day.
I am able to tutor in various Classics related subjects: Latin (through to GCSE); Classical Civilisation/Ancient History/Archaeology (generally through to A-Level, some specific topics to degree level). I am also able to tutor in most European History modules at GCSE and A-Level; and several subjects supplementary to this to secondary age children, including English.
I also have experience in looking after primary age children, and tutoring them in English and Maths. This is after having been an au pair to boys aged 5 and 7 years, as well caring for a boy aged 10.
