About Tsvetelina
I am a professional harpist and teacher based in Edinburgh, UK. I graduated with a First Class Honours in Harp Performance from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and I am currently undertaking an MSc course of Transformative Learning and Teaching at the University of Edinburgh. I am passionate about teaching and share the enjoyment of performing and learning music with my students. I have been teaching privately both pedal and lever harps, piano and music theory in the UK since 2012. I have been preparing my students for music competitions, the graded exams of ABRSM, Trinity College Laban and Scottish Music Graded Exams, which they completed with an award or a distinction. My current teaching studios includes 15 private students (5 adults and 10 children aged 5-14).

If you are a person who loves music and is keen to learn to play the harp - pedal or Clarsach, the piano or need some help with Music theory I would be pleased to help you develop your musical skills!
I've got more than 17 years of performance experience as a solo, chamber and orchestral performer, and over eight years of teaching experience both privately and in schools. I have developed valuable skills which I am willing to share with any music lovers, who are keen to develop as musicians.
I am enjoying working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I am enthusiastic to take my students on an exciting musical journey by using various teaching methods and create an individual program for each student of mine and work especially on a sphere that the individual is willing to.
I have a diverse background as a harpist in classical, traditional folk and popular music. I have graduated National School of Music "Lubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, Bulgaria, where I grew as an ambitious musician. In the years there studying harp I won my first two prizes of International competitions and gain lots of solo, chamber and orchestra experience. Then, I continued my musical education in the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree and have the opportunity to work and meet many world-known harpists like Catrin Finch, Catherine White, Eleanor Turner, Skila Kanga, Gabriella Dall'Olio, Isabelle Moretti and many others.

Perfect! Tsvetelina seems to be naturally gifted in communicating. After just one trial lesson, I feel like I've known her for some time. She has helped me unreservedly, even though it was a trial lesson. I have decided that she is going to teach me the discipline of playing the harp. She is very friendly and professional. I feel fortunate because she is the only harp teacher I chose!
Perfect! It was a wonderful experience! Tsvetelina is friendly and patient. She gives clear explanation and guidance. I am looking forward to have another lesson with her.

It's my pleasure to recommend Tsvetelina for harp teaching jobs! I have known her for years and worked with her in an orchestra where I first witnessed her dedication to the harp. Since then she has moved forward to giving harp lessons and I have seen the professional, loving and dedicated approach which she takes to all of her tutees.
