About Tipwatoo
I am currently studying for a Master`s degree in Piano Performance at the Royal College of Music. I hold an FTCL diploma in piano performance and an MSc in Performance Science. I strive to teach every student not only how to play the instrument but also how to play it with the correct posture and technique. I believe the pitfall of the current piano instruction system is that method books in the market make it easy for teachers to teach students to simply learn the notes, memorise which keys to depress and play out like a robot. What is most crucial to me as a teacher is that students learn what music making actually is. My students are taught how to structure their practice at home so that their usage of time is most effective. I am able to incorporate music theory into your child`s practical piano lessons while being sure to make every lesson as enjoyable as it can be. I accept students of all ages and levels. Lessons take place at the students` home or at my studio.
