Tim did his teacher training (on the SCITT) at Wymondham High, Norfolk, in the last academic year - 2018-2019. I was his head of department and did some mentoring with him. He taught one of my classes. Tim was highly conscientious and keen to do well. He took time to plan lessons carefully and creatively. He has an excellent grasp of the subject and was an enthusiastic trainee teacher. The classroom setting did not suit him as well as teaching in smaller group situations and one to one teaching so he has the potential to do well as a one to one tutor in this setting. Tim was a helpful colleague.

Tim completed long term supply within my department at Ormiston Victory Academy. He taught a range of classes from KS3 & 4. He planned interesting lessons and created positive relationships with students. He was a dedicated member of department and was thorough in his planning and feedback. He is a reflective teacher who acts on constructive guidance.
