About Tilly
I am an energetic, enthusiastic person seeking to tutor anyone that needs help and guidance studying Mathematics. As a tutor I have patience and understanding which I use to tailor the pace and difficulty of my lessons. This allows my students to feel comfortable and provides them with the confidence to achieve success. From past experience I find putting time and energy into the preparation of lessons gives my tutees the opportunity to learn efficiently. Having attained high grades in both GCSE and A-level mathematics, I have devised many strategies for learning and revising. I would look to adapt these techniques for my students in order for them to reach their goals. I have experience with tutoring face-to-face and via Skype. Either type of session has been equally successful.

Perfect! Wonderful !

I was struggling with Chemistry A-level. As mature student, I was mostly learning from night school, books and using online resources. I was having difficulty with the more complex physical chemistry topics, Acids/Bases/ Equilibria and enthalpy/entropy. Tilly was a really patient tutor, happy to run over particular concepts over and over again with me! Tilly is also great at simplifying and teaching the mathematical skills required for A-Level Chemistry which was invaluable to me as I hadn't studied maths for 10+ years. All of the sessions were well planned and tailored to what I most needed, with further questions, exam prep and much more for my exam board syllabus. Chemistry is also as much about confidence as understanding, so I found working through exam question was really helpful. Highly recommended - Thanks Again!
