About Thomas
I have recently graduated with first-class honours in Physics from Imperial College London. During my time there, I have assisted first-year undergraduate students through departmental schemes and have been a demonstrator in the practical laboratory sessions. I have also informally tutored family friends for GCSE maths. In Autumn, I will start working towards a PhD in space physics.

My tutoring style involves guiding students to answer problems themselves by providing incremental help along the way. By asking the student what approach they believe will work and discussing additional ideas, I hope to inspire confidence that will help them to find solutions independently. I am happy to tutor all levels up to undergraduate university physics.

Perfect! Great tutor
Thomas helped my daughter a lot with her A-level Physics exam preparation. Thomas is very organised and was always very well prepared for the lessons.

I have known Thomas for almost 5 years now, having started at university together. He is phenomenally dedicated and organised, and I am confident he would give his all to every student.
I first met Thomas when we started university together in Physics at Imperial College London. He is one of the most dedicated, passionate and organised people that I have ever met. I have no doubt that as a tutor, he would be extremely reliable and a superb teacher.
He has an uncanny ability to cut right to the confusing aspects of a topic, and explain them in such a way that the topic becomes much clearer. This stems from his superb understanding of complex topics.I know Tom from university as we both studied physics at Imperial College London. He is definitely trustworthy, works very hard and is immensely patient. Not only is he very smart, he is also very good at simplifying and explaining concepts. He helped me study for one of the hardest maths exams and really made a difference. Would definitely recommend as a tutor!
