About Sumara
Though a qualified practicing lawyer, I have a strong heartfelt disposition towards children and their educational development. I have played a strong motivational, inspirational and tutoring role towards my own nieces and nephews, and now as a mother myself, a desire to elaborate on my role by teaching/tutoring in the community has grown.
My intention from the outset has been to serve the community, and that is what lead me to becoming a successful Human Rights lawyer, however as I am now well settled into that side of my career, I am confident that taking on a tutoring role will not pinge on any of my other commitments, or vice versa, but rather, it will only make my life more fulfilling.
I intend to commit to tutoring on a part-time, long-term basis. I have consistently scored well in academia and beyond, which is evidence of knowledge and skill that I possess. I aspire to teach in order to make a difference in the school life of children and hope that I will be given this opportunity.
