Experienced Psychology tutor working in Mental health
I have taught research methods and Psychological theory to psychiatric nurses and A-Level students as part of my work as an Assistant Psychologist and Research Assistant. These roles have been in some of the most prestigious psychiatric and psychological institutions in the country including the Michael Rutter Centre at the Maudsley and University College London. I am therefore able to use real world examples of how theory applies to mental health practice which is fundamental in learning and consolidation.
I work collaboratively with the student to ensure the pace of learning is suited to their abilities and needs. I use my excellent communication skills to tailor my teaching to the individual in question as well as humour and creativity to ensure the learning process is interactive, interesting and varied.
