About Sophie
I have just finished my school career at St. Mary's School Ascot. I graduated in English, French, German and History with 3A* and an A. I have decided to take a gap year and re-apply to the University of Cambridge for French and Russian ab initio. In this year I would be very keen to do some tutoring. I am bilingual in German and my French is of a high standard so I can help students all across the ages. For English and History I can help students refine their essay technique or discuss certain texts/ historical periods with them. Having also taken Spanish at AS-Level and a wide range of GCSEs (11A*), notably Maths, Science, Drama, Spanish, Latin, History, English and Religious Studies, I can also help students in these subjects up to GCSE-level. I love teaching - I helped a lot of my friends at school on an individual and group basis and I would love to share my knowledge of my chosen subjects with others. I enjoy working with children and pride myself on my patience and my enthusiasm.

Perfect! Review
Sophie tutored my daughter in English. She is punctual, strategic and clear when teaching. My daughter has improved massively in both English Lang and Lit, and is now much more perceptive when analysing.
I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is struggling in a certain subject!

Sophie tutored me in French before my A Level mocks. She took a very calm and patient approach which created an excellent learning environment. She can easily recognise and remedy weaknesses in the language by slowly talking you through any confusions. Apart from her patience her passion for the subject made her tutoring enjoyable. I would recommend her to anyone of any standard as she an easily adapt to your needs.
