About Sophia
+1000 hours, 300 students. French native teacher, from "classes préparatoires", the best education in France. I have got my master in French as a Foreign Language from Artois; It allowed me to master the French language at an expert level: grammar, pronunciation, academic writing. And also to target my students' needs as best as possible.
I have studied at the prestigious "La Sorbonne" in Paris, where I have majored in English studies. In Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles (CPGE), I have had high level French, English, German, Philosophy, History, Geography and Latin classes.
During my year abroad at the University of Westminster, I have tutored French for students of the university.
5 year experience working abroad (England, Croatia, Spain...) with all levels and ages, for the famous Berlitz school. Students would change every week, so I am confident to say that I have taught all types of learners.
I am told to be a very patient and positive teacher. My approach is to make students feel comfortable, as I think it is key to unlocking language skills.
