About Simon
A Doctor of English literature, and I'm fun! As a CELTA-qualified EFL teacher, 18 years of experience teaching English language, literature and creative writing at schools and universities. 10 years experience planning and delivering specialised one-to-one tutorials for students of different backgrounds, in English literature and creative writing, from year 9 to university level. Versatile, highly-motivated and patient, tailoring lessons to the needs of the students, whatever level they are aiming for, and however they would like to improve. Hard-working and approachable, enjoying a lively classroom, with a good mixture of fun, laughter, and serious learning, where the aims of objectives of professionals are achieved. I'm also a published poet and sound artist.
