About Sherif
Hello! I am a third year Medical student studying at University College London, currently undertaking a BSc year in Global Health.
Throughout my time in education I have balanced strong academic performance with various extra-curricular activities, giving me an important insight to the various challenges students may face during their school life.
Whilst at University, I worked as a Target Medicine mentor, helping students from lower-income backgrounds get into Medicine. I taught both large groups and led more focused smaller group tutorials,
I have tutored Maths and Biology previously in my secondary school, both online and in-person. I have therefore been able to develop an effective student-led approach to tutoring - I work with students to identify their weaknesses then target them by working through examples and helping the students correct any mistakes they may make.
I feel my academic prowess coupled with my varied teaching and tutoring experience will allow me to tutor students effectively and aid their progress.
