About Sheila
I pride myself on my lifelong love of learning and teaching . Some say my enthusiasm to get the best out of pupils is boundless ! As well as being a private piano teacher for years ( up to Grade 7 ) I also enjoy the challenges of teaching pupils especially in English , Maths and Music . Being an SEN coordinator for two large primaries has enabled me to advise on the best provision for children with special needs. I sing well. Being a mum and a great parent is also an asset . I have attended parenting classes and feel that I am very confident when parenting children . I would welcome helping anyone with theses skills I have honed over a lifetime !
Sharing an ability to read and write well , especially for children in the primary years , is paramount and I consider myself an expert in this field of teaching.

I offer one to one personalised learning in Maths up to Year 6 with an emphasis on speed . You’ll only need a few lessons to plug gaps as I have an in-depth knowledge of the primary curriculum. My lessons are fun and interesting with assured outcomes .
