About Sebastian
I have recently achieved Award in Education and Training, level 3 and I am currently volunteering as a math teacher at the West Nottinghamshire College. I used to teach mathematics and physics at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. I taught students aged 18-25 during my PhD study and then another 2 years during my employment at the University. I would like to start new career path in educational sector. I think that teaching is the best option for me because I have broad subject knowledge and relevant experience. In my teaching experience, apart from delivering the subject knowledge, I was always trying to encourage students to take ownership of their learning process which includes self-assessment and evaluation.Personally I present optimistic attitude towards life and enjoy meeting new people. In my life I have been doing many different jobs and I have met people of various social and cultural backgrounds. I try to be moderate in my opinions and I rather avoid premature judgements. I am a tolerant and open-minded person and I respect values such as equality and diversity.
