About Sarena
I am a keen scientist and graduated with a Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry from UCL in 2012. Since then I've worked in startups and launched my own business, whilst maintaining a foot in academia through teaching. I specialise in Chemistry tutoring, specifically GCSE and A-Level, but have experience working with children of all ages and abilities across the sciences, as well as preparing 11+ pupils for their entrance exams.
I tailor each lesson to the individual, identifying concepts that students haven't fully grasped as well as plugging in gaps in knowledge. I then move onto a more holistic and focussed approach when it comes to exam prep. I’m keen to empower children, giving them the tools and confidence to succeed.
