The best English teacher

Sarah has been my English teacher for one year before I moved back Tokyo. We were having 2-Hour English lessons every Saturday. I would say she really has a great passion, patience and always preparing many things for our classes. What's more, she has a beautiful accent and did keep correcting my pronunciations many many times, just as I requested at our first lesson. And I really enjoy being her student.

I am very pleased to recommend Sarah, as I had the pleasure to work with her in 2016. I recruited SArah and trained her to teach EFL to our French Executives students visiting London for 4-5 day courses: Our school specializes in EFL immersion courses for French executives and chief executives, as the Director of Studies, I have the responsibility to recruit teachers who can demonstrate a great sense of pedagogy with excellent communication skills.

I found her very easy to work with, not only was she highly reliable and well organized, she also developed great rapport with her clients, which is paramount to ensure a successful course.
Sarah always endeavoured to provide high quality teaching and to help each of her student reach their linguistic goals.

Reference for Sarah Nicholl

Sarah was one of the best candidates on the recent SGI part-time certTESOL
(15 Sept to December 2015). All aspects of her teaching were outstanding.
Her planning was thorough and imaginative. Her lesson delivery was clear
and engaging. All Sarah`s lessons had clear linguistic aim which were
invariably achieved. She was very aware of student needs and tailored her
lessons accordingly. Her classroom management was also excellent.

Sarah`s written projects were of a particularly high standard. These
included tests in grammar and phonology and an individual student profile,
which involved analysing the needs of a particular student, designing a
lesson and teaching this lesson one to one. Sarah was a good team worker
and got on well with tutors, colleagues and students. She is a very
likeable person and would be just as good as a class or individual tutor.
SGI certTESOL does not involve young leaners, but I have no doubts about
Sarah`s suitability for this type of work. SGI would employ Sarah and I
would not hesitate to recommend her for employment.
