I recently graduated with a First class honours degree from the University of Glasgow with an Integrated Masters. I am about to undertake a PhD at the University in Molecular Biology. Although my degree and PhD are of a molecular nature, I have a higher in human biology and I completed human biology classes up until my second year of university. I really enjoy teaching others about science and I am passionate about biology.
I am based in the West End of Glasgow and I am willing to travel to students houses to make the study session go more smoothly for them.
I have experience teaching in undergraduate labs, seminars and tutorials. I am familiar with the higher biology course as I have volunteered to help out in school labs that are run by the University and Glasgow science centre. I am also involved in outreach projects run by the university of Glasgow which aim to bring science to a wider audience.
I also really enjoy keeping fit and enjoy reading and attending gigs in my spare time.
I was a member of the Head of College scholars list in my second and third years at University. This was a selection of the top 10% of students in those years who would come together and discuss current research going on at the University.
