Until 2013, I was lecturer in Infectious Diseases at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). I was involved in management, teaching, QA and assessment of post graduate students. I enjoyed both lecturing and small group teaching. I was also involved in distance learning and Skype supervision.
In 2013, I took a mid-life break and took the opportunity to sail across the Atlantic and travel.
Now I have returned to teaching and have been enthused to teach science at secondary school level. Currently I work privately as a tutor for secondary school students and also I have also tutored at a local state school and aiming to obtain QTLS status later this year. I particular enjoy teaching A (and IB) level biology.
My other interests are beekeeping, gardening and swimming.
