About Samson
Hi there, my name is Samson and I'm a recent graduate from Oxford University (2:1 in PPE) looking to help children get the most from their education. I'm fun, approachable, personable and patient, and have always been someone people turn to when they need something to be explained to them. I am training to be a full time teacher (having been accepted on to the TeachFirst program) and want to put my teaching qualities into action as soon as possible.
I have A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-level, so understand the underlying concepts extremely well. More importantly though, I am able to explain these concepts in simple, easy to understand ways, and can vary my approach depending on the needs of you or your child.
I'm very flexible and so should be able to accommodate most time requests, please get in touch with me if there's a particular time you'd like!
I think many people who struggle with Maths and science do so because there is a feeling that you either get it or you don't, but this cannot be further from the truth. Everyone can have a solid grasp of these concepts, and I am willing and dedicated enough to help guide people.
