About Samerah
I am a fully qualified Early years Practitioner studying for my PGCE for General Primary Education. I have over 6 years of experience teaching all primary aged children in all areas of the National Curriculum subjects.
I have worked as a teaching assistant in many schools over the past years and supported children with SEN and all abilities in their numeracy and literacy, as well as supporting them 1:1.
Prior to this, I graduated from Staffordshire University with a First-Class in Early years Education which has taught me the development and learning of young primary aged children.
I enjoy working with young children and developing their confidence in numeracy and literacy skills, as well as aiming to address specific gaps in their learning and coming up with different teaching strategies to overcome their weaknesses in the subject.
Beyond this the key to success in learning is the relationship between the student and teacher. I believe in responding to the needs and demands of those who I teach whilst building self-confidence and belief, as well as having fun interactive lessons!
My sessions can be booked as one off support sessions to tackle a specific issue or we can look at a fixed number of sessions to get your child closer towards meeting their targets.
I have a valid and Current DBS Certificate.
