A graduate of Asia Pacific Studies with Chinese, spent one year living in Hangzhou.

I have known Samantha since September 2014 when she joined the University of Central Lancashire. I have been her Course Leader on her degree programme as well as teaching a number of the modules that she studied and supervising her dissertation. Samantha has always been an active and positive contributor in both class as well as wider university life. She is popular and well liked among fellow students and lecturers as a result of her positive attitude to her work and life in general.
Samantha is academically bright and benefits from being a willing learner who engages with constructive feedback to constantly seek to improve her work. Although final grades will not be known for a few weeks, I fully expect her to graduate with at least an Upper Second. Her ability to listen is as equally impressive as her ability to communicate ideas and information in a comprehensible and engaging manner. I am certain that her combination of strong intellect, impressive cultural awareness and hardworking attitude will serve her well in postgraduate study.
