Computer Scientist with a deep interest in Math and Physics
I've been programming since I was 10 years old. Initially in BASIC on the C64, then moving on to C++ and Java. Graduated with a Masters in Computer Science from Cornell University in 1999, having won the world Robotic Soccer championship (as Artificial Intelligence lead).
I have been working in the IT industry for 18 years across the globe - coding resilient, real-time software across the financial, retail, and manufacturing sectors.
I have taught Computer Science and Programming courses to students at all levels and to professionals in the industry as well.
I have a passion for Mathematics and Physics. I have taught Calculus, Statistics, Probability and other topics to students.
I'm also proficient in Urdu - having obtained A's in GSCE and GCE level.
I love to teach, and enjoy explaining concepts in simple verbal and visual language. I pride myself on a student’s success and believe in rigorous practice as an important ingredient of success. Having stood 1st in almost every class in school, I understand the recipe for academic excellence, and love to share it as well!
