About Sahdiya
I am a confident, enthusiastic qualified teacher, with a wide range of experience teaching. I not only enjoy learning myself but also have a desire to pass knowledge on in a successful, patient and engaging manner.
I have graduated with a 2:1 in Primary Education and Biology and I have gained a TEFL qualification as well as a PGCE in secondary science. I have tutored a wide range of students from primary up to GCSE and Alevel Students in biology, chemistry, physics and maths and English
Sessions were planned according to what the students had covered at school during those specific lessons along with homework and aspects which they were strugggling with. During the sessions I would go over what the pupils had done in school and went over difficult topics, having done this I would with the use of textbooks and worksheets test them on their knowledge and also get them to explain the topic to me as if I were a student to see if they fully understand their work. One of my students yet has her results to be given whilst the other achieved a B in Chemistry and B in Biology
My teaching style is not one which involves simply handing out worksheets, but, instead, I like to take more of an interactive and engaging approach. This involves communication, hands on work so that an individual fully understands concepts as well as enjoying learning at the same time.
