About Sabrina
My qualifications and grades (I got the highest overall grade of my year for both my BSc and MSc) are a reflection of my high standard and interest in Maths and Science. I am a dedicated and knowledgeable full-time tutor, proud to impart academic achievement and self-confidence to all my pupils.
I have a PhD (2012) in Physics from King's College London where I also graduated with a MSc Hons in Nanotechnology Engineering with Distinction(2008). I have a BSc Hons (graduated with a First in 2007) in Physics, Chemistry and Matter Science from a French university in Paris (with a final year abroad at King’s College London) that I obtained with a First (Mention Très-Bien).
I also passed my French Scientific Baccalaureate in Paris which I obtained with Mention Bien in 2003. I did a Classe préparatoire PCSI (Physics Chemistry and Engineering Science) at Lycée Charlemagne in Paris in 2004.
When I was in France (prior to 2006) I was helping pupils in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, German and French according to the French curriculum. Then after moving to London to study I also familiarised myself with the British and International curriculum in order to pursue my tutoring activities. Later on, as a part of my PhD, I was assisting lecturers during their BSc and MSc tutorials in Maths and Physics. I also was an undergraduate laboratory demonstrator in Physics and I was in charge of the marking of the lab reports and the oral presentations. This allowed me to learn new teaching methods applicable not only to undergraduates and postgraduates but also to younger students.
Alongside my research I provided my services to several private tutoring companies where I was in charge of GCSE, AS- and A2-level intensive revision classes in Physics and Maths (covering all the different exam boards) during half terms. The experience thereby gained confirmed my passion to help learners understand and discover Maths and Science as interesting and easy subjects.
Since 2012 I have been a full-time tutor (enhanced DBS check renewed in June 2023 and Safeguarding course passed with a score of 31/31 in May 2020) helping all level KS and MYP, GCSE (and IGCSE) and GCE (and IB) pupils in Maths and Further Maths (Core, Pure, Mechanics, Statistics, Further Pure, AA & AI), FSMQ Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and French, and more recently in Computer Science. I also offer support to undergraduates and postgraduates as well as Foundation year students. I also have been helping several students in different year levels at the Lycée Français, the American School, Southbank International School, Westminster School, Royal Ballet School (and many other boarding schools), Francis Holland, Highgate, Godolphin and Latymer, and many other prestigious schools in London and abroad (British Internation School in Djeddah, Beau Soleil in Villars-sur-Ollon, Dulwich College International in Beijing, Trinity School in NYC, Raffles Girl School in Singapore…).
Since 2013 I have helped pupils with their 7+, 8+, 11+, 13+ and 16+ entrance exams (Wellington, Westminster, Winchester, Godolphin & Latimer, St Paul’s, City of London, King’s College, Latymer, JAGS, Dulwich College, St Dunstan's College, Henrietta Barnett, Highgate, Haberdashers’, Wetherby...). I also have a strong support system for my students preparing for the Oxford/Imperial and Cambridge university entrance exams (PAT, MAT and STEP) and SAT/ACT for American universities. I also have experience in the Maths and Physics Olympiads. Finally, I have been helping adult learners in their endeavour to gain Maths qualifications (GCSE, A-level and QTS) or simply improve their Maths skills.
I have worked and still work with several pupils with dyslexia, dyscalculia and ADHD; I thereby learned to adapt my teaching skills and behaviour to all my students.
Since May 2020 I volunteer with the Tutorfair Foundation and I have been proud to be able to help students become more confident with their studies.
I am also able to travel and stay with my clients for more intense tuition classes. This is something I have been doing for the past five years and all of them have been very impressed with the results obtained and my very professional yet friendly behaviour.

I use an online platform with an interactive whiteboard where both the tutee and I can write simultaneously and the whole session is recorded. This way they will have a pdf with the written notes and the audio recording for future revision and safeguarding purposes.
The contents of the lessons are planned according to the student's needs. Firstly, the theory is always explained and then applied through guided exercises. Finally, the tutee does some exercises on his own while explaining them back to me.

Sabrina helped me with my math A-level.
I procrastinated the whole year, so I had only few weeks before my exams to learn the year worth of material.
I had hundreds of tutors in my life, but I feel like Sabrina was the only one who took me "under her wing". I could see how she felt totally responsible for my grades and gave it all.
We covered the whole A2 material from the scratch in a very limited time. At the end we even had time to do all past papers and a lot of exercises.
I was very pleased that she came to all classes already prepared and with a plan ahead.
I received A for my Math A-level.
However, my Mechanics 1 was only B. I think that's because I'm naturally not good in physics and we did not have enough time to prepare.
Sabrina also taught my younger brother after, so I would definitely recommend her.Excellent teaching
Sabrina was responsible for tutoring two of my children for GCSE Maths. My children were predicted D grades by their school teachers. With the help of Sabrina both my children not only passed but passed with good grades achieving B grades. These grades were attained within a space of 4-6 weeks. I strongly recommend Sabrina as she managed to not only work to a very tight schedule but delivered according to individual needs of both children. Her manner and personality were terrific and helped the children accomplish tasks set by her. I have recommended her to friends and colleagues as well.

Sabrina came to the rescue of our daughter when she was really struggling with confidence in maths and science . She was with us for a period of over 2 years leading up to GCSE.
My daughter really connected with her and looked forward to her visits and I think she inspired Lucca to become a scientist . Sabrina was very focused with her and often stayed well beyond the allocated time. She would not let her rest on her laurels but pushed her to reach her potential which she duly achieved. I have no heistation in recommending her.Sabrina came to the rescue of our daughter when she was really struggling with confidence in maths and science . Her classes were carefully structured but she did not spoon feed; ensuring that my daughter understood and remembered the topics they were discussing. She was helpful and provided my daughter with key topics and points for revision. She is clearly an effective and very accomplished mathematics and physics teacher and is able to turn her had to a wide range of topics and to get on top of the materials covered by different boards.
Sabrina has tutored my daughter for 3 years since year 6, helping her improve her ability in core maths through key stage 2 and 3 as well as building her confidence. She is a reliable, patient teacher with an approachable and friendly manner. My daughter has really enjoyed her tutoring sessions which have helped to negotiate her way through a school move at secondary level with different teaching disciplines. I would thoroughly recommend Sabrina.
