Approachable, knowledgeable English, German & History tutor
I am a third year BA English student at King's College London, expecting to achieve a 1st class honours degree in summer 2018.
I am a friendly, competent tutor, with a great deal of experience teaching English, German and History to a range of ages both within an educational/ cultural institution (The Charles Dickens Museum), and on a personal level for neighbours and friends.
I am confident in tailoring lesson plans and subject matter to individual needs, and passionate about making learning not only academically rewarding for students, but also personally worthwhile and even fun! I look forward to teaching children of varying ages, though my main strengths do lie in GCSE and A-Level tutoring. I am also keen to facilitate both English (native) and German (which I speak and write at a C1 non-native fluency level) adult language learners through tutoring.
I have always enjoyed education myself, and want to share the knowledge and skills I have acquired thus far with others who are interested in or working towards qualifications in English Literature or Language, German and History specifically, though I am also confident in tutoring Government and Politics, Religion/ Philosophy and General Studies GCSE and A-Level, as well as Maths and Science for Primary pupils.
I look forward to hearing from you about your interests and requirements!
