About Rubina
For many years, I taught at degree level in the University. For the last 6 years, I have taught various subjects from Maths, Science, English, in both primary and secondary schools. I have even had the pleasure of teaching the TEFL course during summer camps which has helped me develop my skills further.. I am currently teaching maths & English at functional skills and GCSE level.
In addition to this, I have provided private tuition for Key Stages 1, 2 & 3. Initially, I started with one child in a family but this soon increased to the siblings and now, his cousins and extended family. Nothing can beat ‘word of mouth’ to get the word out about my skills as a tutor.
My main focus is upon KS1 & 2 and Grammar School Entrance Exams. I think it is important to help children get the best start in life, so the younger they start, the better their chances are of succeeding.
My preference is now offering online tutoring, as I can then offer my services to students in more remote areas. If you are looking for a tutor, get in touch! :)
