About Rosie
I am 23 years old and would be delighted to tutor in English Literature, Economics, Classics (Ancient History) to A Level or to degree level in Law.
I achieved excellent A Level results: Economics (A*), Classical Civilisation (A*), Geography (A), English Literature (A) and General Studies (A*). I am able to tutor in any of these subjects at GCSE level and A level.
I attended Colchester Royal Grammar School in Essex for 6th Form. The School's 6th Form has been ranked 1st in terms of A-Level results in the UK every year since 2006. It is a state school and I earned a place on my own merit, moving after my GCSEs from a large comprehensive school where I was Head Girl.
I have a high 2:1 in Law from Durham University and a Master's in European Law from University of Amsterdam. I feel able to tutor students who are studying Law as part of an A level or are in their first or second year at University. I achieved at least a 2:1 in all modules and in my final year as an undergraduate achieved firsts in all modules. I achieved the equivalent of a first consistently throughout my Master's.
I am also able to tutor the LNAT which is the law entrance exam some of the top Universities ask for from prospective Law students. I did very well in this exam in 2012 achieving a 26/42 where the national average was 18/42.
Whilst I have no prior tutoring experience, I am naturally very friendly, confident and approachable. Above all I am very keen to pass on my knowledge and passion for the subjects and see others do well.
I am currently undertaking an internship at the International Chamber of Commerce in central London, working in research and policy usual working hours. I am using my knowledge of European Law to help with research on specific legal areas that will be affected by Brexit.
I am available on weekday evenings from 6pm onwards for tutoring sessions or alternatively at the weekend. I would be pleased to speak on the phone to discuss in more detail or have a brief meeting in person to allow me to introduce myself properly.
