About Rose
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught university courses in morphology, language acquisition, pragmatics, and introductory linguistics. I taught at the University of Westminster from 2002-2009, and I have been teaching ESL since 2008.

Hello. I'm a linguistics graduate with a PhD in syntax, and several years of teaching the subject at university level. I'm also a CELTA-qualified ESL tutor, and have been teaching ESL for four years now.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Linguistics, ESL.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have the CELTA qualification to teach ESL. I also have an MA in Linguistics and a PhD in syntax.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £20 an hour if you visit me, or £25 if I visit you, to cover travelling expenses. I also charge £20/hour for online tuition.
- Where do you teach?
I can teach at my home or at students' homes. I am also willing to teach via e-mail. I am willing to travel up to 5 miles from St Albans.
- When are you available?
I am available mornings and afternoons on weekdays, evenings up to 8.00pm, and weekends if really necessary (but I prefer not to teach at weekends)!
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
Any ages for ESL. For Linguistics, students 18+.
