Qualified Italian teacher; Ancient Greek and Latin tutor
I am an Italian DPhil student (PhD) in Classics at the University of Oxford. I got my TIAFL qualification (Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language) in July 2016 at the Italian Cultural Institute of London, where I acquired a student centred teaching method and I have been trained to teach Italian at any levels. Therefore my lessons are very interactive and I do all the best to calibrate them according to my students' needs and wishes. I offer one to one lessons targeted on school syllabi, classes for adults, conversation at any level and on any topic, preparation for CEFR examinations (and any similar kind of certificate), but also classes in Italian literature and culture. As part of my undergraduate degree I indeed took two exams in Italian literature, and one in History of Italian language (as long as Italian Grammar), all passed with merit. Moroover, being a researcher in Classics I also teach Latin and Ancient Greek (which I have been studying and translating for 11 years) at all levels. As for Italian, I can give lessons in Latin and Greek literature and history. Finally, from October 2017, I also teach Ancient Greek reading classes to undergraduates at the University of Oxford.
