A respectful tutor who'd like teach without stress
Whatever age you are it's never too late to learn. Every day is a new day to learn many things. I believe in this statement and I'm passionate to tutor anyone with the knowledge I have in a stress free atmosphere. I'm a recent maths graduate who loves maths. I want to transfer my love of Maths to my students to remove their fears of Mathematical problems. Practice makes perfect in Mathematics. I've got experience in Marking test papers using a Mark Scheme. I learned a lot when marking test papers. I would like to share my knowledge with my students to improve their grades. I have experience in tutoring as I teach my sister GCSE Maths.
Currently completed my final year as a Computational Mathematics student. Have obtained a broad knowledge and understanding of data analysis and software applications. Also, gained programming skills with various software’s. I’m a highly-motivated individual, with a broad range of abilities and the capacity to rapidly learn new skills.
During university, I studied computational mathematics. I enjoyed learning a lot about data modelling and statistics. I also learnt how to understand data and make quantitative decisions. I used a variety of different programming software’s which gave me an open mindset. In my final year, I did a project on Markov modelling. This involved modelling and evaluating a system’s reliability and predicting the possible failure states of that system. Constantly testing and reviewing the system to improve its reliability. I found out that Google also uses Markov modelling to obtain reliable search results.
I understand the importance of mathematical skills and analytical thinking in the real world. I’m very passionate about mathematics and technology. Living in a world where data is all around us, we need to use that to empower people to make better decisions and to make a better world.
While in university, in my spare time I sold items on eBay, where I got experience in dealing with customers.
I have gained valuable workplace skills during my studies at University. These include; Software developing, teamwork, organisational skills and managing priorities. As an IT student, I have advanced skills in the Microsoft OS and Office applications. As well as software skills I also have a broad knowledge and understanding of the hardware in computers. I’m ready to join you and experience the creative and technical challenges.
