About Rehana
My goal is to foster student’s passions and curiosity while making learning a fun experience. I believe as a biologist and a teacher it is my responsibility to challenge and support my students, in pursuit of their learning goals.I feel it is important to make learning interesting and creative, and one way to achieve this is through the use of situations in real life; this allows students to explore and understand situations, and express solutions.
My university courses, especially my 7 years teaching practice in three different universities, has confirmed my belief that teaching is one of the most challenging, rewarding, enjoyable, demanding, and exciting career. I am continuously curious and open minded, hardworking, enthusiastic, able to work with others, and organise my time effectively. I believe that teaching makes a lasting contribution to a young person and it is important for them to acquire both knowledge and skills.
