About Rebecca
I am an enthusiatic and engaging tutor who uses creative and innovative ways to communicate themes, techniques and ideas. Having graduated with a 2:1 in English & Related Literature from the University of York, I have a demonstrated ability in all english language and literature, from Anglo Saxon through to modern novels, with excellent essay writing abilities. I have a passion for reading and studying texts of all ranges, with particular specialism in GCSE and A Level mark schemes. For younger students, I focus on conveying ideas in a fun and engaging way, always communicating the context of literature and language, to help them see the practical usage and history around texts. With English Language, enthusiasm and clarity is key, and I make lessons as creative as possible. During my own GCSEs, I tutored classmates in History and French after school. After this, I have helped to tutor friends' younger sibilings and children of varying ages.
Since then, I have worked in business as well as working as a freelance writer. I am currently applying for a masters in Journalism.
I understand how difficult home tutoring is, especially with all of the Zoom calls in the current crisis! I'd love to be of any help I can be, helping to split up your children's days too, and help them establish a routine. I look forward to hearing from you!

Perfect! Amazing Tutor!!
