About Philip

Maths and Physics easily explained !

Having difficulty understanding Maths and Physics?
Me too when I was young. -And also needed tutoring!
However, I soon got the hang of it and ended up with A grades in both subjects and doing a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a Master's degree in Physics.

I will help you understand the difficult subjects by explaining them to you in an easy manner.
Problem-solving, probability, trigonometry... You´ll love it!
Pressure, gravity, equations of motion... Easy peasy!

Finally, I would like to mention that I am a competitive chess player, and have trained juniors to a National championship level. If you want to improve your game I come second to none when it comes to bringing across basic chess concepts as controlling the center, good and bad bishop, middle-game strategy and endgame technique.

. You will get to love these subjects and you notice a dramatic improvement after every lesson!

Amazing Chess tutor!

Written by Sam S
We enlisted Philip to teach our 5 year old son Oscar to play chess, having tried one or two chess teachers previously. All were good but Philip was just in a different category altogether; not only is he an exceptional talent (having tutored a young Spanish boy from the age of 6 to reach national Spanish championship), but he has a gift for explaining things to people on all levels. Not only did he manage to keep my 5 year old son intrigued, enthusiastic and smiling for almost two hours (!), but he also included my friend's 10 year old son and pulled me in too! Amazing. I'd highly recommend him

My son enjoyed his first lesson and was able to consolidate what he has been learning in school. Philip was able to give some useful tips which made the lesson more interesting. Thank you!
