About Panos
A professional teacher from Greece. I studied Greek Philology at the University of Patras where I've been taught (Modern and Ancient Greek, Latin, Homer and Iliad, European History and Literature, Greek Palaeography).
I have a strong academic background and teaching experience in Greece and London as well. Recently, I completed a 7-month seminar entitled "Teaching Greek as a Second Language" specified in students from different backgrounds and Children learning Greek as a second language or needing to improve their Greek language skills. I've been exposed to a variety of Greek Language courses (writing, grammar, syntax). Initially, after I have finished my studies, I was a private tutor for KS2 students with great success in Modern Greek, Literature, and Essay.
After my MA at the University of Warwick, I moved to London to work as SEN Teaching Assistant and I privately work with adults and children; KS2 and KS3, who are keen on learning modern Greek (speaking and writing). I follow different approaches to my students depending on their needs (GCSE exams, speaking enhancement, writing practice).
