About Owen
Hi, I'm Owen, I'm a 24 year old guitarist and film composer. I have been playing the guitar for 12 years now, and I have been composing and using music technology every day for the past 5 years.
I have studied classical music in high school and then went on to study songwriting and music performance at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) in London. I was awarded with two BTEC Diplomas (songwriting and guitar performance) and a Bachelor in Arts (songwriting).
Throughout my studies, I have shared my knowledge with friends and other students by giving them private lessons tailored to their needs. I am kind, patient and compassionate, and always try to see things from the pupil's perspective to give explanations as clear as possible to the individual.
I can teach guitar, music theory and music technology to beginner to intermediate pupils from all ages.

I wanted to further explore music for ages. I already had some notions, but Owen knowledge of both music theory and music production has greatly helped me.
Owen showed me several exercises on the guitar (chord voicing, scales, arpeggios...) as well as some really useful way to use synthesizers.
Moreover, he is extremely patient and pedagogue.
