**Why pick me...**
If you are looking for the best in tutoring in science and maths, then be tutored by an actual scientist and mathematician. Unlike other tutors, who might have a 2.1 in history and claim to be able to tutor maths or physics, I am an active researcher with the appropriate degree with the top grade. Every day I use maths, science, and programming. I have experience tutoring these three disciplines. These are my expert subjects areas.

Perfect! Excellent Tutor, influential in my successful Oxford Application!
My mum (who's account I am writing this review on) was searching for a tutor to help me prepare for the PAT (the Oxford admissions test for Physics, Engineering, and Material Science Applicants) and I am so fortunate that she happened upon Oliver's page. The way he teaches is very interactive and thought provoking, and I have to say I did not expect anything close to as good from an online tutor.
I came to him with some issues with mechanics especially, as I was quite under confident in my ability to solve tough mechanics problems. However Oliver's teaching method of essentially re-teaching me the true derivations of many formulae, in the way that these topics are in fact taught at university, made me significantly more confident in my ability to tackle problems that I may not have seen before. This is actually something that schools tend to forego, as they are mostly preparing you for exams, but for admission tests and interviews the ability to truly understand the concepts being used to solve problems is in my opinion crucial, and I have Oliver to thank for teaching me them.
I had originally only planned to have one or two lessons with Oliver to help boost my confidence before the PAT, but after how successful they turned out to be I quickly signed up for more. Furthermore, when I heard that I had been selected for an interview at Oxford, I reached out to Oliver again for some help practicing for it. He was able to give me several mock interviews, with really tested me, and pushed me to start thinking in a way that the interviewers are looking for, which again proved to be influential in my real interviews.
I must say that if I had not been fortunate to meet Oliver here, then I seriously doubt I would have had as successful a university application phase, and furthermore I don't believe I would have done nearly as well in my final A-Level exams in the summer. Indeed the lessons he gave me months before my exams proved yet again to be so helpful, as they catapulted me from struggling seriously with M2, to having M3 be one of my strongest results in Further Mathematics.
I am ever so grateful for his help, and would strongly recommend Oliver to any student looking to further their ability in Maths and Physics.
Outcome : I successfully got an Oxford offer for Engineering, and also met this offer (A*A*A) in my summer exams.Perfect! Subject : Physics
