I'd like to introduce my lessons by giving you an idea of my approach to music.
Music is a language. The point of learning any language is to be able to understand it in three main contexts: reading, writing, and most importantly, speaking! The same is true for the piano. Sadly, the way piano is usually taught, there is lots of emphasis placed on reading sheet music, and almost no attention is given to the more important (and more interesting) aspects of writing (composition)…

“I am generally free at lunchtimes, any day of the week, to give lessons at my place, in Fitzrovia. I am also free on Wednesday and Friday evenings after 6pm.”
