I'm 19 years old and I am midway through my first year reading Geography at the University of Oxford. I did my A levels last summer at St Paul's School in Barnes, achieving an A* in French, Maths and Economics and an A in Geography, and during the holidays I will be living at home in West London, the area in which I intend to tutor. I speak French fluently (native on my mother's side), and I feel that my exam results demonstrate my ability in Maths and Geography, having excelled in all the subjects I tutor throughout my time at school.
In terms of experience, I have already completed 25 hours of tutoring (not on Tutorfair) in Maths and French, developing my communication and engagement skills with young people. Furthermore, I have also been coaching cricket to children for 3 years and tutoring for 9 months, and I have been told that I engage extremely well with younger people, so I am confident that I have the experience and inter-personal skills to work well with my pupils, having seen very good results as well as high enjoyment in the past.
If you have any further questions about me, my style of teaching or anything else you think may be important in deciding whether or not I am the right tutor for your child then don't hesitate to contact me!
Oliver tutored my son Arran, who was in Yr 5 from January to June this year. Both myself and my son found the lessons stimulating, challenging and fun.Arran gained a greater confidence in all aspects of maths. We would thoroughly recommend him.
