I am an enthusiastic and passionate individual who enjoys science as well as communicating it using everyday occurrences as well as nature.
My first degree from the University of Bradford is in Biomedical Science after which I trained in Cambridge to qualify as a registered Biomedical scientist. Further trainings took place in London at Imperial College NHS as a specialist biochemist where I was heavily involved in training junior colleagues and trainees. My passion for passing on knowledge got me to enrol first for a Post- graduate diploma in Education and now a masters in Education which is ongoing.
In addition, I am an award winning professional . In 2008, I got the best professional portfolio among 3000 members of staff at the South Manchester NHS trust. In 2015, I also got an award for Innovation in Pathology from NHS Southeast England where 12 finalists from the whole region emerged. I believe in bringing knowledge to life and making tangible applications.
My experience as a member of the management board for the Commonwealth Education Council from 2013- 2016 also give me a lot of insight into learning and focusing on the learner with the appropriate knowledge and skills.
