About Nicola
My name is Nicola Hare,
I am a recent graduate from the University of Warwick where I studied English and Philosophy. I was extremely fortunate in school in that I had incredible teachers and I was naturally able to learn things quickly. However, this wasn't always the case for my peers, and believe that we all have a duty to learn as much as we can, which is why I have embarked on this journey. Whilst waiting on an opportunity at the UNFPA, I am eager to give back and help others learn, but more than that, give them a thirst for wanting to learn. I have previous teaching experience; I volunteered in South Africa to teach students (aged 13 - 18) English and History for six weeks.
I believe in understanding the needs of those that I teach and then adapting what I know to suit them, rather than simply imposing a way of teaching, and I hope that I am able to offer improvement to all that I do tutor.
