About Nick
I began learning classical piano when I was a child and reached Grade 8 ABRSM when I was in high school. I've also been playing the organ at services in churches since I was 16. I also love playing other genres such as blues, rock and folk and I play keys in an alternative folk/blues/latin band called The Moonlands.
I can take on students who are either working towards an exam and would like to improve their knowledge of theory and reading music score etc. and also students who are more interested in many of the other genres beside classical.
The piano is the best instrument to learn for anyone who is interested in playing music as it's an amazing way to pick up knowledge of music theory at the same time as experiencing the satisfaction of mastering a new piece of music.
Every student learns differently - as a tutor my aim is to find out what works best for each individual so that they can enjoy and benefit from their classes as much as possible.
