About Neil
I have been tutoring for over four years and during that time I have tutored over 80 students and gained over 1000 hours of tutoring experience. I have tutored all levels of school maths (A-level, IB, GCSE,IGCSE ect) for all exam boards. I also have experience teaching 11+,JMC,JMO,IMC,SMC, Oxford MAT and STEP.

I believe that lessons need to be tailored to suit a students particular needs, so in the first couple of lessons I evaluate the level of the student of what specific topics they need to work on. I regularly go through exam questions so that students are more capable and confident when they take their exam.

Our daughter really struggled with A level Maths. With little support from her school, we were forced to consider private tutoring and we were incredibly fortunate to find Neil. He came to our house on a weekly basis for the 6+ months leading up to the exams and worked methodically through the problem areas. Our daughter’s confidence gradually improved and, most importantly, she felt supported. We had doubts about getting her to a B grade but she surpassed all expectations and achieved a remarkable A!
